Auvernier Jazz Festival on Lake Neuchâtel The history of the Auvernier Jazz Festival begins with a passion for music and a magical place. The current director and founder, Jean Martin Peer, wanted to create a new event devoted to Jazz in a privileged setting that puts the public in direct contact with artists of international renown. A wish that has been realized each year since 2009 on the beach of Auvernier thanks to a dynamic team that works voluntarily to set up 3 days of festival.
Our team now has 40 volunteer members who actively collaborate throughout the year in organizing the festival. A hundred volunteers join the ranks of the AJF at each edition.
If the festival is a success, it is also thanks to the values that animate us: solidarity, professionalism, passion and pleasure.
