About

Calstock Arts was established in 2010 and is a not-for-profit arts venue. It is largely staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers. Initially set up as a Community Interest Company we converted to Charity status in 2015. Our programme is varied and includes folk, jazz and classical music, dance, films, talks, comedy, workshops and exhibitions.

We offer a variety of performances that include nationally recognized artists more often seen in much larger venues. We’re also proud of our record of showcasing local and younger performers. Around 60 events are put on each year and these are split fairly equally between ticketed and free entry. Most of the free entry events are part of our Gallery Bar Special series and all we request is a donation which goes directly to the performers.

Calstock Film – C-Fylm, offers a good mix of mainstream and other less well-known films. It is run twice a month on a Thursday evening. See the events listing for the current programme.
