Here we have bass genius Laurence Cottle teaming up with Ant Law, and Jamie Murry, on Laurence’s konnakol inspired tune whilst ill with covid.. hence the title… The tune is literally blaizing – we love it!
The Guardian terms Jazz guitarist Ant Law as “a game changer” and “an innovator”. On the 24th July 2020 his 4th quintet album was released on Edition Records: ‘The Sleeper Wakes’. Do check it out too. A handful of live dates were performed in early 2020 but the bulk of the band’s touring was wiped out with the various lockdowns. Tour booking is now underway for 2022… more info to come.
