Course Tutors

The Rapport Falmouth Jazz Summer School brings together a brilliant team of tutors, a first-class music and performance facility, and a wonderful Cornish setting to make an amazing six-days of jazz learning and playing.

Previously known as the Falmouth Yamaha Jazz Summer School (2012-17) and now RFJS (2018 ~) this course offers the opportunity for jazz players from a wide range of playing experience – from beginner to advanced – to dive into an exciting programme of musical discovery.

Whether playing in school bands, rehearsal bands, in full time music education, playing local gigs or semi-professionally, the combination of course, tutors, facilities, and the amazing energy created through this gathering of jazz lovers, makes this workshop a terrific opportunity to tangibly develop jazz playing skills, understanding, and appreciation.
